  PLEASE do not support this business. The manager/owner, whomever it was that I dealt with today was a jerk and only cares about money. I have eaten here before, the food is mediocre, but one of two Asian food places in Washington. I called in, arrived to pick up, and paid the girl at the cash register. However, when my food came out, the manager came over and told me that I owed another dollar because the girl charged me wrong. Most business would just over look it, however this manager was mouthing to the girl (who kept saying "it was my mistake. don't charge her" over and over) to be quiet because he was going to have me pay... AS I'M STANDING RIGHT THERE. Then I get home to find out that the extra money he was insistent on getting for my broccoli and onions was barely worth it, maybe six pieces of broccoli and a few slices of onion. What a joke. I will not be going back and I urge you to support Hibachi Japan in Washington instead.

  This was my first time trying Akai Japan, and I loved it! Their sushi is reasonably priced, and delicious!! We tried their chicken and steak lunch special. Everything was cooked to perfection, and the staff was so friendly. Our waiter was very patient with us as it was our first time. He offered recommendations, and was very courteous! The environment is very relaxing!
